Sorry for not updating more often.  I survived the first week of class, and so far I’m surviving the second, though tonight looks like it will be a late night.  I already had incredible trouble staying awake in math this afternoon, which is not a good sign.

In general, I’m happy with all of my courses, though together they really are a bit too much work.  I’m happily taking voice lessons on Friday afternoons, as well as social dance bright and early twice a week, in which I am learning the guy’s role and having much fun.

For tomorrow I have to write the proposal for my PWR 2 research project, which I think will build off of the linguistics paper I wrote on AIM last year.  I’m trying to build up my enthusiasm for the project but I’m too tired and I don’t want to have to think about what exactly to do the project oh.  Oh well.

But, as you’ve probably noticed, I’m on AIM and Xanga less frequently than last year, due in part to having work and actually attempting to do it.  The other relevant factor, is, of course, David, since there’s no point wasting time on the computer when I could be hanging out with him.  It is especially nice that we have a class together every day, and for syntax we do the reading and homework together, which can be fun.

Overall, life is pretty good, though I need to get this work thing, and especially PWR, under control so as to spare myself the late nights and sleepy afternoons that characterized too much of last year.  This is especially important because I have class starting at 9 every morning.

So that’s pretty much it.  I like my new dorm (although our theme is dumb) and I like my room and my roommate pretty well.  And the points system isn’t all that bad for meals, although I occasionally get worried about my balance being low, even though I spend less per meal than the all-you-care-to-eat prices.  Whatever.  So yes, update, there ya go.
