Branner is beautiful in the spring.  Stanford is beautiful in the spring.  Actually, Stanford is always beautiful, but it strikes me especially in sunny weather when there are blossoming trees and blooming flowers to accompany the gold and red of the sandy buildings and tile rooves.  No no, I know I’m not poetic.  I just appreciate the atmosphere here.  I’d probably be more depressed if I lived on the east coast and everything was grey and bare or bricky or whatever.  In fact, anywhere with gloomier weather and a less aesthetic campus.  Although…who knows.  Whatever.  Now if only I were motivated to study for IHUM or work on my math take-home…
