I'm unfamiliar with Rachel McAdams, but that's a nice photo. I just did a quickish scan on Google Image Search to find these photos. A second scan produced a better one, I think, for Catherine Zeta-Jones which I've replaced above.

I think any generic "most beautiful people" list is going to be a little pointless, just because taste is fairly individual, and if it's getting published in a magazine you have to pick famous people that the readers will know. On the other hand, it's interesting to see what a "real" person (i.e. someone I know) will choose for their own list.

It's also interesting to see the choices of specific photos for these people. I would agree with a lot of your picks, though might have chosen different photos for some. E.g. Catherine Zeta-Jones without hair? What a pity. I do like, however, how some of them have such natural-looking smiles, rather than looking too posed (even if they are). E.g. Ziyi Zhang, and Rachel Weisz. Smiles are important. :-)

You say Scarlett Johannsen is "too distinctive," though personally I'd give that extra points. SJ herself doesn't particularly do it for me, but in general, it's a plus to look beautiful in your own way, rather than in the usual way pop culture expects.

I'm tempted to make my own list (later on, when I'm not procrastinating on my packing), but for now I'll just second the votes for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aishwarya Rai (though with different pictures), and I'll add in Rachel McAdams, who I liked in The Time-Traveler's Wife (though she looks a bit spaced-out in that particular picture).
